Spiritual Direction: A space to encounter what is deepest and most true

There are times in life when we find ourselves asking deeper questions — questions that cannot always be answered through problem-solving or self-improvement.

Perhaps something within you is longing for a different way of being.

The questions become quieter, yet more profound:
Who am I beneath all the roles I have played?
What is life inviting me towards now?
How do I live with greater freedom, compassion and presence?
Where is the sacred in my ordinary life?

Spiritual Direction offers a gentle and spacious place to explore these questions.

It is not about adopting a particular belief system or being given answers. Rather, it is a relationship of deep listening — helping you become more attentive to your own experience, the wisdom within you, and the mystery that many traditions call God, Spirit, Presence, Awareness or simply Love.

An Interspiritual Approach

While Spiritual Direction has its roots in the Christian contemplative tradition, my approach is intentionally interspiritual.

Having lived in India for fifteen years and trained in both psychology and contemplative practice, I draw respectfully from a range of wisdom traditions, including:

  • The contemplative and mystical traditions of Christianity
  • Hindu traditions of self-inquiry, awareness and the exploration of consciousness
  • Buddhist practices of mindfulness and insight
  • Non-dual teachings on presence and the nature of awareness
  • The Enneagram as a map of inner transformation
  • Jungian psychology and depth psychology
  • Contemporary psychotherapy and neuroscience

These traditions are not combined into a single belief system. Rather, they offer different perspectives on a shared human longing — the longing for wholeness, truth, connection and presence.

You do not need to identify with any particular religion. Some people who come to Spiritual Direction have a strong faith; others have moved away from organised religion; many simply sense that there is a deeper dimension to life they wish to explore.

All are welcome.

A Space for Deep Listening

Our sessions are unhurried conversations rooted in presence and compassionate attention.

Together we may explore:

  • moments of awakening and transformation
  • grief, transition and uncertainty
  • discerning life's deeper invitations
  • practices that cultivate presence
  • recurring patterns and what they reveal
  • your relationship with silence, meaning and the sacred

Sometimes words are enough. Sometimes silence says more.
